This fifth annual event, at Main Street Garden, on September 22, 2018 featured award-winning pitmasters serving brisket, ribs, sausage, and more.

Your ticket included ALL THE BBQ from:

  • BBQ on the Brazos (Cresson)
  • Barrel & Bones (The Colony)
  • Bet The House BBQ (Denton)
  • Black’s Barbecue (Lockhart/Austin)
  • Cafe Momentum (Dallas)
  • Cattleack Barbeque (Dallas)
  • Chef Dean Fearing (Dallas)
  • Flores Barbecue (Whitney)
  • Hutchins BBQ (McKinney)
  • Kreuz Market (Lockhart)
  • Lockhart Smokehouse (Dallas/Plano)
  • Louie Mueller Barbecue (Taylor)
  • Meat Church (Waxahachie)
  • Roegels Barbecue Co. (Houston)
  • Schmidt Family Barbecue (Lake Travis)
  • Smoke Sessions Barbecue (Royce City)
  • Zavala’s Barbecue (Grand Prairie)

That works out to $3 a tasting—even less if you have seconds. I confess to having thirds of the pork belly.

Café Momentum provided the side dishes, and desserts were compliments of Fearing’s.

Guests also enjoyed live music by Eleven Hundreds Springs, Mike and the Moonpies, and The Dean Fearing Band.

But that wasn’t all: Family friendly fun was at the Trailer Park Olympics, armadillo races, a mechanical bull, and so much more.

Don’t worry if you missed it.  Or if you want to go again.
