Robert Painter seeks out the most exciting destinations in the world for you to experience the height of luxury mixed in with as much adventure as you could hope for.  He’s not an adrenaline junkie, but rather seeks destinations that afford an opportunity for new and exotic experiences that may be out of the ordinary, sometimes strenuous, sometimes easy, but always adventuresome and frequently luxurious.  Imagine riding a camel in the Rose City of Petra and bedding down the same night at a luxury hotel after a gourmet dinner. Or, perhaps sleeping in a Bedouin camp in Wadi Rum listening for the ghost of Lawrence of Arabia before heading down the road the following day to the luxury of a Dead Sea Resort.

Is a Crystal Cruise an adventure or simply an unsurpassed luxury?  That can depend on you and the shore excursions you choose on your journey across the seas. 

Sometimes the luxury is in the surroundings.  Think of a day on a Tundra Buggy watching beautiful giant Polar Bears at play.  The luxury here may be in a cup of hot chocolate and warming your feet in front of the fireplace that evening.  A trip to the Galapagos to see Blue-footed Boobies, a week at the Fur Rendezvous in February in Alaska including a bit of ice climbing or a hike down into the Copper Canyon of Mexico are adventures within reach – o.k., maybe not the ice climbing, but it’s easier than it looks! Robert will always look for exciting things to do and great places to stay and dine.
