For 13 years Leida Snow covered the cultural life of New York as Theater Critic for WINS-AM. She also reviewed and/or reported on theater for the World Service of the BBC, WABC-TV, and Variety, and has been published in Tablet Magazine, Straus Media, New York Daily News, amNew York, Portland Observer, Forward, Hollywood Reporter, Opera News, Ballet Review, New York Newsday, and Publishers Weekly. For articles in the Best Report she travelled internationally. As President of the Drama Desk (theater critics association), she produced and hosted the Drama Desk Awards. Leida is the recipient of an Armstrong Award for her reports for ABC News during the Iran hostage crisis, and she won the Grand Award at the International Radio Festival of New York for her 5-part series on dyslexia for ABC News.
