For $16.50 you get to choose from a selection of eight gourmet sandwiches as part of the three course picnic . My favorite is foie gras and fig chutney on house-baked brioche, but you might prefer the pan bagnat with tuna, olives, and eggs. Each feast also includes mixed greens, seasonal fruit salad, a bottle of mineral water, and your choice from the three fruit tarts (rhubarb, cherry or lemon). This could also serve as a power lunch from a conference room window overlooking the park or another New York vista. Too busy for lunch? Start your day with breakfast at Payard Patisserie & Bistro.
