If you love chocolate and foot massages you need to discover Bliss

By Madelyn Miller, the TravelLady

I have always known there is really nothing bad about chocolate. And thank goodness they have discovered chocolate is good for your heart, your health and your sex life. (what other product can do all those wonderful things?)

So when offered an opportunity to try a spa treatment at the new Bliss Spa in the W Dallas-Victory and saw there was a double chocolate foot massage on the menu. Since I love foot massages and am a registered chocoholic, it was no contest. I signed up immediately.

I was not  sure what I was getting—but I knew if it was chocolate AND a foot massage it was going to be a memorable experience.

Actually just walking into Bliss is a memorable experience. Many spas take the dark, soothing spa approach. Bliss has a style all its own—white, bright and fresh. It makes you feel healthier as soon as you enter. You want to take a deep breathe and inhale all the “atmosphere”

A clever moving track of healthy goodies parade by as you relax in the waiting room.

Or you can watch the big screen TV.

You can also nibble on lots of goodies-some truly healthy, others more indulgent.

But this is not restaurant review. It is just a fond remembrance of one of the most pleasurable hours ever experienced by my feet. But I must say this treatment could be renamed the Quadruple chocolate pedicure

THE MOST CHOCOLATEY SPA TREATMENT I EVER HAD

double choc pedicure

A chocolate fete for your feet, this treatment is sweet. Includes a hot chocolate milk skin smoothing soak, a shin-sloughing sugar scrub, and all the prerequisites of a perfect pedicure - with chocolate ice cream and brownie served on the side.

$70

All I needed was someone to lick my toes

IS THERE LIFE AFTER CHOCOLATE?

Yes. Bliss has more blissful offerings.
