Savor la Différence Ya’llFrench Chamber Hosts 26th Annual Beaujolais Wine Festival; Festival Highlights Bordeaux, Beaujolais, Texas Vintages edited by Madelyn Miller, The Travellady.com As wine lovers around the globe crack open the first bottles of the 2009 Beaujolais, Dallas will revel in the country’s biggest BeaujolaisWine Festival. Themed Bordeaux Meets Texas, the 2009 festival will be held at the InterContinental Dallas on Friday, Nov. 20. Organized by the French-American Chamber of Commerce of Dallas/Fort Worth, the festival is expected to draw more than 2,000 people.
Guests will not only taste wines from the Beaujolais region, the event’s signature Sommelier Sponsor, Goody Goody Wine & Spirits, will also have Bordeaux and Texas vintages to savor. Celebrities including Miss Texas 2009 will be on hand for autographs and photo opportunities. Other highlights include a fashion show by Texas Next Top Designers, jugglers, mimes, dancing, a silent auction, and more.
