Breckenridge Summer Adventure Package

Families or groups of four can stay in Breckenridge for four nights, take a half-day whitewater rafting trip in Browns Canyon, go on a two hour ATV tour of the Ten Mile Range, experience an hour and a half horseback ride through the Colorado Rocky Mountains and take an authentic gold mine tour at the historic Country Boy Mine.

Country Boy Tourist Mine

Gold helped shape Colorado's history. Today, the state’s 13 tourist mines provide an instructional glimpse into the past and the incredible hardships miners faced in search of riches. One of these, Country Boy Mine, was restored with new timbers, lights and ventilation in the mid 1990s and is open to visitors, who venture more than 1,000 feet underground into the past. The mine looks feels and smells very similar to the way it was more than 100 years ago. After your tour, you can pan for gold and “shoot the chute”, a slide down a 55 foot ore chute. And be sure and pet the mine’s baby burro before you leave.
